Contrast, lines and font in cosmetic packaging design

Endor Technologies is a biotechnology company that conducts medical research in the field of oncology and dermatology and manufactures a collection of skin care products. In line with the company's new market strategy, Fase Studio was commissioned to adapt the brand, packaging design and online store. The rebranding should shift the focus in positioning and create the impression of a medical dermatological product oriented towards the international market.

The main goal was to showcase the advanced technology of Endor Technologies and thereby separate the brand from the beauty concept that many cosmetics are associated with.

The solution was to switch to a graphical language for pharmaceutical products, organizing a three-line grid on which the entire packaging design is based. The main font chosen was "November Std", a delicate typeface with an industrial character. Pictograms-drawings were used to indicate the form of product release. Finally, a range of colors has been defined within the brand to differentiate the series, based on subdued grays and contrasting blacks.
